By Step Directions
By clicking on the Donate button:
- You will be taken to a secure server location in a
new webpage to process
your credit card donation. This page's url string will begin with - https://simplecheckout.authorize.net
- On the new page, you will have the opportunity to
enter a contribution amount. When finished with your selection, click
on "Continue." This will bring
you to a finalization page.
- Please then enter your credit card information,
personal information and security code. Then click "Submit" when ready
to make your donation. Please know that you may be contacted by a
representative of the Jim Silva For Assembly - 2010 campaign committee
for additional information.
Note: Contributions to Jim Silva For Assembly - 2010 are
not tax deductible. Federal
and California law require political committees ($100 aggregate) and
candidates
($200 aggregate) to report the name,
mailing address, occupation and employer for each individual whose
contributions aggregate the allowed minimum amount or per calendar
year. Corporate
contributions may be used either for federal elections (Levin) or
California state elections, and may also be made in any
amount within limits.
California State
Candidate Guidelines: Currently,
an individual, business entity, or any other organization or group of
persons may not contribute (including loans) more than $6,500 to a
candidate's primary election and $6,500 to their general election. Lobbyists
registered to lobby angency of the officeholder can not contribute. The
committee does not solicit and can not accept cotnibutions in excess of
applicable limits or from prohibited sources. Corporate and PAC
contributions are permissible. Foriegn nationals are prohibited from
making contributions, unless they have permanent residency status in
the United State of America (Green Card). Contributions
from individuals, corporations and PACs are accepted and subject to
Proposition 34, which limits contributions to $3,900 per election cycle.
